Hi guys! How have you been? These past two weeks have been a little bit hectic for me; i've been doing a lot of shoots lately, and it's been great! School's been getting real hectic too, thus the lack of updates. Here's a preview on how my past few weeks have been though, like my trip to the Shizen Orchestra and my photoshoot with Le Souffle! LE SOUFFLE PHOTOSHOOT
Le Souffle Rockwell, Makati

Last April 24, I was hired by ~dadomz (and ~gravitycircle) to do some food photography for Le Souffle, a French fine dining restaurant here in the Philippines. I've eaten there quite a few times already and i've always been impressed wth their esquisite attention to flavour and presentation, so it was an honor to shoot for their site. I brought Bardo ~gooselaff and Ionne ~boozeberry along for the shoot, so they could help me with the lights and eat the remaining food after the shoot. Needless to say, it was one of my funnest shoots to date : )

Since the food had to come out fresh, there were a lot of long breaks in between for vanity. Hi from me and ~boozeberry!


These two mouthwatering dishes (the cherry cheesecake and mushroom souffle) are some of our favorite from the selection.

It was my first time to *seriously* do food photography, and I think I fell in love with it. I think I owe a lot of this to Mye =peachjuice for showing me how awesome food photography could be! She's got the most awesome food shots ever :3

Also, a big thank you to Edjie *blackmage9 for lending me her awesome 100mm lens! I wouldn't have gotten the awesome details if it weren't for her. Thank you! :3

SHIZEN ORCHESTRA
SMX Convention, Mall of Asia

First of all, I wanna congratulate the SO organizers and the Dokissaten Cafe for having such an exceptionally successful convention! Trina ~aiganbutsu and I had such a great first-time experience because of you guys. Whoot! It was also one of the longest and most fun days of my life! It was super fun and exciting and i'd explain it all but let's just make the photos speak for themselves, yes?
